Evaluation Criteria
Our vendor evaluation process involves an in-depth analysis of the product's capabilities. Our analysts gather information through various primary and secondary research methodologies, including but not limited to:

- Product collateral such as brochures, specification sheets, case studies, user manuals and technical documentation

Our rigorous evaluation criteria, commitment to data integrity and dedicated industry coverage allow us to deliver the best possible insights and recommendations, free of bias or undue influence. Our methodology and process come together in our analyst scores.
SelectHub’s Technology Selection Management (TSM) Scoring Engine processes the data collected during research and computes the analyst score for each product. The scoring engine factors in functional and technical requirements, standardized across categories for an apples-to-apples comparison. The computation also includes implementation and vendor qualification criteria where present.
The data is presented in three core ways across our website and selection platform.
- SelectHub leaderboards and sub-leaderboards: Each category leaderboard shows the 10 products with the highest overall analyst scores. The sub-leaderboards drill down a level to display the 10 products with the highest scores for each of the category’s core modules.
- Analyst scores on product pages: This score shows the product’s overall score within its primary category.
- In-platform scores: Default scores are shown but can be customized. Users can select relevant modules, company size, industry and requirement priority. The resulting product scores are highly accurate and tailored to each buyer’s needs
