Telehealth technology is a combination of software and hardware used to facilitate telehealth and telemedicine processes, such as virtual appointments, e-prescribing, medical file transfer and more.

Despite all the possibilities and opportunities that telemedicine technology offers, there’s still room for improvement. Telehealth technologies enable physicians to provide coordinated care. However, they also run the risk of overuse and incorrect diagnosis.
