**Bottom line:** iCIMS suits mid-to-large companies that want a deep, configurable recruiting suite. Bullhorn is a better fit if you run a staffing agency and need CRM tools built right into your ATS. iCIMS manages the full hiring cycle, from screening applicants to onboarding new hires. It scales well as your headcount grows, and you can customize career site branding, workflows, and reporting to match how your team works. That said, getting set up takes time — implementation is complex, and costs are higher than most comparable tools. Bullhorn combines an ATS and CRM in one platform, which is a real advantage if you're placing candidates with client companies rather than hiring for your own organization. It also automates a lot of routine work: resume parsing, candidate tracking, and email follow-ups happen without much manual effort. Just keep in mind it's not built for in-house recruiting, so it may feel like a mismatch if that's your situation. On pricing, Bullhorn starts at $99 per month, giving you a clear baseline. iCIMS doesn't publish pricing — you'll need to request a quote, and installation and integration will add to the total.
