Instead of juggling separate systems, your company data shows up right where work is already happening. For instance, if operations is working on demand planning, they can crunch live inventory and sales numbers in Excel instead of exporting static reports that are outdated by the time the meeting starts.Ecommerce is another area where it stands out. The system offers a first-party Shopify connector that syncs orders, inventory and payouts automatically, helping you avoid the added cost and complexity of middleware and keeping your storefront and back office aligned in real time.On the operations side, Business Central covers finance, projects, distribution and light manufacturing. You get features like BOMs, routings, production orders and directed pick/put-away. That’s enough for many small and mid-sized operations.But if you need work in progress tracking or product configuration capabilities, you should consider Kinetic (it scored 100 for both areas in our analysis).
