These included partner documentation and user reviews for Sisense on G2, Gartner and Reddit. For this summary, I also called upon my experience of testing other tools in this category, including [Power BI](https://www.selecthub.com/p/business-intelligence-tools/power-bi/), [Domo](https://www.selecthub.com/p/business-intelligence-tools/domo/), [Tableau](https://www.selecthub.com/p/business-intelligence-tools/tableau/), Qlik Sense and [Cognos Analytics](https://www.selecthub.com/p/business-intelligence-tools/cognos-analytics/). Users appreciated how Sisense derives actionable insights from large data volumes, graphs, charts and maps, with 85% praising its visualizations. It comes equipped with a data dictionary, quality monitoring and metadata for lineage. The platform uses AI for data cleansing and exploration and fully supports date-time, string, numeric, financial, math and statistical data types. Our analysts give Sisense a perfect 100 score for data preprocessing, at par with Qlik Sense and Oracle Analytics. Funraise1, a nonprofit platform, saved 40 engineering hours weekly and boosted its annual fundraising by 7% after partnering with Sisense. They were also able to increase annual donor retention by 12%. According to a Reddit review, as a solutions vendor, you can monitor all your Sisense tenants from the Fusion command center. At the individual level, viewers can modify native filters, log out and come back to see the same filter still applied to the data. I was impressed by the vendor’s attention to detail for every user role. Users mentioned that the implementation of this solution, though easy for basic setup, can be quite demanding in terms of scripting and configuration setup, especially for advanced analytics. On the front end, dashboard customization and formatting of visualizations can be tricky as these require basic knowledge of CSS, Javascript and development. ElastiCubes are the vendor’s flagship features, but most users were critical of them, saying they’re resource-intensive and expensive. Around half of the users citing data modeling said it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and there’s a considerable learning curve to mastering the platform. However, once set up, its data models were flexible enough to cover most use cases without needing adjustments. Additionally, customer support got full marks, with users stating they were satisfied with the help they got. Though a large number of users found it to be cost-effective, smaller businesses and startups might find it expensive. Overall, Sisense has strong data capabilities, though businesses may require strong IT support for the implementation and formatting of visualizations. I was impressed by the vendor’s attention to detail for every user role.  Users mentioned that the implementation of this solution, though easy for basic setup, can be quite demanding in terms of scripting and configuration setup, especially for advanced analytics. On the front end, dashboard customization and formatting of visualizations can be tricky as these require basic knowledge of CSS, Javascript and development. ElastiCubes are the vendor’s flagship features, but most users were critical of them, saying they’re resource-intensive and expensive. Around half of the users citing data modeling said it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and there’s a considerable learning curve to mastering the platform. However, once set up, its data models were flexible enough to cover most use cases without needing adjustments. Additionally, customer support got full marks, with users stating they were satisfied with the help they got. Though a large number of users found it to be cost-effective, smaller businesses and startups might find it expensive.  Overall, Sisense has strong data capabilities, though businesses may require strong IT support for the implementation and formatting of visualizations.
