Sending emails, creating campaigns and keeping track of donor interactions is also easy. Organizations rely on these features daily to talk to their supporters.Reporting is another strong point. The software gives you tons of options to create reports and slice your data in pretty much any way you want. Users can get up-to-the-minute looks at patron engagement and donations, which is very valuable for fundraising teams.But it's not all perfect. Some volunteers find the database intimidating. The advanced search tool can be tricky — sometimes, you have to try multiple fields just to find the information you're looking for. Product improvements, while generally great, sometimes mean users have to relearn parts of the system.The software offers some valuable features that set it apart. These include a document repository, donor wealth screening, live-streaming event capabilities, a volunteer timeline and even a Radius Search tool to find specific donor segments. Neon One also has a mobile app, Neon Moves, which uses AI to analyze and summarize donor information.When it comes to their website-building solution, Neon Inspire offers an easy-to-use platform that allows fundraisers to quickly create campaign pages. While the tools are straightforward, adding plug-ins is tricky. It may lack the depth of customization that some organizations need.Customer service is mostly great, though some users mention that response times can be slow sometimes. The Neon Academy provides thorough training, which helps users get the most out of the software.Performance arts organizations that integrated Neon CRM with Neon One’s Arts People found it helpful for connecting their retail and fundraising work. It allowed them to track patron interactions across different types of events and donations. Arts People is designed specifically for performance art associations. The software streamlines event registrations, simplifies the creation of system transaction emails, and offers smooth Neon Pay integration for processing online donations.However, there are some areas for improvement. The adaptive intelligence feature can become a go-to for identifying high-potential opportunities, and predictive analytics helps tailor your approach to each client's unique needs. Features like the Oracle Sales Assistant help you perform tasks through natural language commands, reducing the learning curve and increasing efficiency.In a time where subscription-based models are becoming increasingly prevalent, having built-in tools like Oracle’s subscription management can be a significant advantage. While I didn't have the chance to explore all of them, Oracle's industry-specific solutions and their tailored approach for different sectors like healthcare and financial services showed me how versatile the platform could be.Oracle Sales Cloud didn’t score as high as other CRM providers in our communication channels analysis, with a rating of 66\. In comparison, HubSpot scored 96, Zoho 92, Salesforce 86 and Pipeliner 88\. However, it still offers robust support for essential features, providing handy tools like email templates, email communication, email aliases and call logging out of the box.The learning curve was steeper than I anticipated. Also, its high cost and complexity may be a barrier for some users. Despite these challenges, the benefits of Oracle Sales Cloud far outweigh its drawbacks.
