Pick Clio if you want an easy onboarding ramp, a deep app marketplace and a strong mobile experience. Pick Centerbase if you're a mid-to-large firm that needs deep billing, trust accounting and workflow customization and you have the time to set it up properly. Clio starts at $40 per user per month. Centerbase starts at $59 per month. The billing units are different, so check a quote before lining the two up on cost. User feedback on Clio also points to total cost running higher than competitors once you add Clio Grow alongside Clio Manage. Clio is the friendlier pick for daily use. The UI is intuitive, the mobile app covers time tracking and accounting from anywhere, and the 200-plus integrations help you slot it into an existing stack.
