What we like about Dynamics 365 Human Resources and PeopleStrong:

What we dislike about Dynamics 365 Human Resources and PeopleStrong: 

* No built-in report scheduling, engagement surveys or mobile push notifications
* Complex and costly to implement, especially outside the Microsoft ecosystem
* Not the best fit if strong native global compliance or succession planning are top priorities

* Users report login friction and QR code scanning issues that slow down daily access

### Our Review 

**Bottom line:** Dynamics 365 Human Resources is the better pick if you're already in the Microsoft ecosystem and want deep analytics and finance-HR integration. PeopleStrong is the stronger choice if you need a self-contained HR suite with native payroll and a clean, mobile-friendly experience.

Dynamics 365 Human Resources is built for organizations that run on Microsoft tools. If your team already uses Teams, Power BI or Microsoft 365, everything connects without extra work. You get real-time HR dashboards, AI-assisted benefits setup and recruiting through LinkedIn Recruiter. That said, it's a heavier platform — implementation takes effort, especially if you're not already in the Microsoft world, and the full-access plan starts at $135 per user per month (there's also a self-service tier at $4 per user per month).

PeopleStrong takes a different approach. It bundles payroll, attendance, leave, recruitment and performance into one platform and keeps things accessible. The mobile app is a standout — users can handle most HR tasks on the go. PeopleStrong doesn't publish its pricing, so you'll need to request a quote.

On analytics, both products offer dashboards and reporting, but Dynamics 365 HR has an edge with Power BI integration for workforce forecasting. PeopleStrong's analytics are solid for everyday HR decisions but don't go as deep on predictive planning.

If you need strong Microsoft integration, workforce forecasting and don't mind the cost and complexity, Dynamics 365 HR is the more powerful option. If you want an all-in-one platform that's easier to get running — especially in the Asia Pacific region — PeopleStrong is worth a close look.
