Zendesk starts at $55 per user per month, while Zoho Desk starts at $12 per user per month. Both bill on the same per user per month basis, so Zoho Desk is the cheaper entry point by a wide margin. That gap matters most for small teams or businesses in cost-sensitive markets, where users say Zendesk feels expensive.

On features, Zendesk leans into omnichannel support, AI-powered routing, voice, community forums and a help center that handles 40+ languages. It's built to keep ticket context intact as conversations move across email, chat, phone and social. Reporting is solid, though users note advanced analytics often sit on higher-tier plans.
