If you need deeper security capabilities — like built-in encryption, vulnerability management, and EDR — Kaspersky Endpoint Security For Business covers more ground, especially for larger or more regulated environments. Symantec's strength is its simplicity. You can get it running quickly, manage it from a central console, and rely on its built-in firewall and scheduled scanning to handle day-to-day protection. The cloud-delivered version adds AI-assisted policy updates and a deception layer that can catch sophisticated attackers. That said, users note that scanning slows things down and the software is heavy on system resources, so it works best when your hardware is reasonably current. Kaspersky goes deeper on features. Its centralized console covers policy configuration, remote task management, and endpoint monitoring across the whole environment. It also includes data encryption, automated vulnerability patching, and application control — capabilities Symantec doesn't match at the same level.
