When I took TimeForge for a test drive, the setup was straightforward, with a user-friendly setup wizard guiding me through each step. The intuitive interface made it easy to create schedules using the drag-and-drop editor, and I appreciated the ability to customize pay rates, employee roles, and permission groups.That said, the design could use a refresh. While I found the interface functional and well organized — with dashboards for tracking shift confirmations, swaps, and messages — the mobile experience lags behind competitors. If mobile UX is critical, Deputy offers a more modern interface and stronger accounting integrations, including QuickBooks and Xero — areas where TimeForge falls short.When it comes to broader integrations, though, TimeForge has plenty to offer, including HR, payroll and POS.
