Users report onboarding within a few hours, and the mobile app makes it easy for staff to access patient records from iOS or Android on the go. It's MU3 certified and includes a full telehealth module with HIPAA-compliant video, screen sharing and multi-user sessions.

OpenEMR is free and open-source, which is a real advantage if budget is tight. You can install it at no cost, and extended modules are available through a marketplace.
