Pick Exchange Online Archiving if you're already deep in Microsoft 365 and just need email archiving that fits in. Pick Archive360 if you need to archive more than email and want your data to live in your own Azure tenant. Exchange Online Archiving sits inside the Microsoft 365 stack you already pay for. Users get to their archives straight from Outlook or Outlook on the web, and admins set retention, eDiscovery, and legal hold from the same console they use for mail. That tight fit is the main reason regulated shops on Microsoft 365 stick with it. Archive360 reaches further. It moves and manages email, files, application code, and database backups, and keeps everything in its native format inside your own cloud. Reviewers point to Archive2Azure as the standout, especially for migrations off legacy systems. If your data sprawl goes well past Exchange, this matters. Both products use quote-based pricing, so you'll need to contact each vendor for a number. Treat cost as a parallel conversation, not a tiebreaker, since the published ranges aren't directly comparable. One more thing to weigh: Exchange Online Archiving can struggle with very large mailboxes and won't pool mail from multiple users into one archive.
