**Bottom line:** Pick Salesforce Sales Cloud if you need a deeply customizable CRM that can grow with a large or fast-scaling sales org. Pick Zoho CRM Plus if you want sales, marketing and support bundled together at a lower entry price for a small or mid-size team.

Salesforce leans heavily on its Einstein AI and a massive integration catalog. You get predictive lead scoring, anomaly detection and call insights, plus connections to thousands of apps through AppExchange. Zoho takes a different path. It packs CRM, help desk, projects, surveys, social media and the Zia AI assistant into one suite, so you don't have to stitch tools together.

Pricing is where the gap shows up. Salesforce Sales Cloud starts at $25 per user per month, with tiers running up to $500 per user per month for Einstein 1 Sales. Zoho CRM Plus starts at $14 per user per month. If you're a small or mid-size team watching budget, Zoho is easier to justify.

Customization tells a similar story. Salesforce gives you almost limitless flexibility, but you'll likely need a certified admin or consultant to use it well. Zoho is more approachable for self-service setup, though users note its customization can still get technical for complex workflows.
