They tackled inconsistent record-keeping by implementing standardized workflows, hierarchical roles and custom modules in Zoho CRM. Zoho’s mobile app is just as powerful as the desktop version, giving you access to all its features on the go. Plus, it has in-depth reporting capabilities, which can help identify improvement areas. However, I found that these reports, while extensive, might not be as visually appealing as the graphs and infographics you’d find on other platforms like HubSpot.

If you’re looking for an all-in-one CRM that does pretty much everything, you can’t go wrong with Zoho CRM. According to our data, it fully supports 86% of key CRM requirements out of the box. And only 5% aren’t supported at all. In fact, it fully supports more features out of the box than CRM juggernauts, Salesforce (81%) and HubSpot (80%).

Despite delivering a ton of helpful features, Zoho CRM does lack a few tools, according to our research. It doesn’t offer mobile push notifications. If you need a system to manage contracts and quotes, you’ll need to connect with other platforms, such as Zoho Contracts and Zoho Subscriptions, each of which costs extra. Zoho CRM also doesn’t integrate with CPQ solutions.

Users report a learning curve associated with full feature utilization and customization. Additionally, some advanced features and functionalities require upgrades to higher tiers, making it expensive for smaller teams. After getting our hands on HubSpot Sales Hub, we found it extremely easy to use, thanks to the helpful guides and support materials. We believe the Sales Hub is the best part of HubSpot overall.

It allows you to store and manage all your customer information in one place. You can easily organize and segment contacts, track their interactions with your business, and gain insights into their behavior and preferences.

[NTUC First Campus](https://www.hubspot.com/case-studies/ntucfirstcampus) (NFC), one of Singapore's largest early childhood education providers with over 180 centers and 5,000 employees, struggled to manage customer leads and inquiries. Their teams had trouble tracking parent inquiries from various channels, leading to cold leads, poor customer satisfaction and inefficient workflows.

After choosing HubSpot to integrate their marketing, sales and support operations, NFC transformed their entire process with automated workflows that now track over 50,000 annual leads. The results have been impressive — a double-digit percentage increase in enrollments, at least 5,000 hours of productivity gains for enrollment advisors, and significantly improved collaboration between marketing and sales teams.

One of the standout capabilities of HubSpot is its ability to automatically capture and track website visitors and turn them into leads. The email marketing capabilities are truly second to none. You can set up automated email campaigns that nurture leads through the sales funnel. Also, you can create targeted content and messages that are sent based on a lead’s behavior, interests and stage in the buying journey. It may seem complex initially, but you’ll see that HubSpot’s email marketing engine operates as effectively as dedicated email marketing platforms.

I highly appreciate HubSpot’s reporting capabilities. You can choose from a variety of ready-made reports and organize them into separate dashboards. Even the free plan includes multiple dashboards and up to 30 reports. Compared to other email and contact management tools, the data is really easy to read.

However, there are some downsides. The main one is the cost. While HubSpot offers a free version that many find useful, it can get expensive quickly if you need more advanced features. We found that it can end up costing more than similar tools when you add all the extras you need.

Another consideration is that while HubSpot has most of the features you'd want in a sales tool, some common ones are only available in the more expensive plans. This can be challenging for small businesses.

Overall, HubSpot Sales Hub offers significant advantages for medium to large enterprises. We advise you to think carefully about what features you need and how much you're willing to spend before committing.

After testing Dynamics 365 Sales, I have mixed feelings about this CRM. Setting up the free trial was challenging. Since Dynamics 365 is an expansive ecosystem, configuring the environment and assigning user roles and permissions was complicated.

On the positive side, the Microsoft ecosystem integration is seamless. The platform connects easily with Teams, Outlook and other Microsoft tools, creating a unified working environment. Copilot, Microsoft's AI assistant, is quite helpful – it summarizes records, schedules meetings and makes information more accessible.

For businesses considering Dynamics 365 Sales, [EPAM](https://www.epam.com/)’s experience offers a real-world example. With over 50,000 employees across 55 countries, they switched from an outdated on-premises Dynamics CRM to Dynamics 365 Sales to unite their global sales team.

Previously only 70% of teams used the system, while others relied on disconnected tools like Jira and HubSpot, making it hard to track sales funnels. After going live in June 2023 with 600 trained users, EPAM adopted Microsoft Copilot for Sales, reducing administrative tasks and giving reps more time for customer interactions — leading to early improvements in sales outcomes.

You can customize the system to handle most business requirements, though this often requires technical expertise. For large enterprises with IT resources, this flexibility is valuable.

Cost-effectiveness varies greatly by organization size. For companies with fewer than 5,000 contacts, the difference between Dynamics 365 and more affordable CRMs may not justify the premium price. The licensing structure is also notoriously complex, often requiring guidance from certified partners.

Technical glitches were unfortunately common throughout my testing. For example, the Email Engagement feature was missing from the desktop version but accessible through the mobile app. This inconsistency was confusing.

The system runs noticeably slow, with considerable lag when switching between tabs or accessing different workspaces. For a premium-priced solution, this was particularly disappointing.

At first glance, the user interface appears simple and clean. In reality, many functions are hidden within nested menus, making navigation problematic. The learning curve is steep, likely requiring extensive training to fully implement the platform's capabilities.

I noticed some practical limitations as well. There's no built-in reminder option for pending tasks, and duplicate leads occur frequently. Users report that customer support is difficult to access and slow to resolve issues, with the system apparently favoring certified implementation partners for support access.

Dynamics 365 Sales is a powerful but complicated CRM that’s ideal for larger organizations with technical resources and implementation partners. While it offers a variety of features and excellent Microsoft ecosystem integration, its performance issues, complex interface and setup difficulties make it less suitable if you run a smaller business or want an intuitive, out-of-the-box solution.

Having spent considerable time evaluating SAP Sales Cloud, I want to share my honest experience with the platform.

My journey began with the basic free trial, which only scratches the surface of what the platform can do. While this limited preview was helpful, it didn't give me the full picture of the advanced features I'd later discover.

The initial setup was quite tricky. I found myself deep in configurations and customizations, which took more time than I expected. However, I noticed that if your company already uses other SAP products, the implementation becomes significantly smoother. The platform works well alongside [SAP ERP](https://www.selecthub.com/p/erp-software/sap-erp/) and other SAP tools, creating a connected ecosystem.

The analytical capabilities are very impressive and, thus, a user favorite. AI-powered forecasting tools help you make better decisions, while thorough reporting provides insights you probably hadn't been able to access before. The platform’s cloud-based nature allowed me to access these tools from anywhere, which is a huge plus for remote work.

During my research, I came across an interesting SAP Cloud implementation — South Shore, a furniture company with over 80 years of experience, needed to launch direct-to-consumer online sales. They worked with SAP to implement several customer experience solutions in just 16 weeks. Now, they provide personalized shopping experiences across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

The new system connects with their existing SAP ERP, allowing them to track important customer activities like abandoned shopping carts. They can even send follow-up emails with special offers to encourage purchases. South Shore also uses the platform to sell products from business partners without online stores. This shift to SAP has strengthened customer relationships and increased website sales conversions by 25%.

SAP occasionally runs slower than I'd like, especially when handling larger data sets. I also found that integrating with non-SAP systems required extra effort and technical expertise — something that might not be readily available in smaller organizations. During system updates, I experienced some minor disruptions, though these were usually temporary.

The learning curve was steeper than anticipated. While some team members may adapt quickly, others might struggle with the platform's complexity. In fact, many users I spoke with ended up hiring consultants just to get their systems configured properly, which added to the overall cost.

My conclusion is that while SAP Sales Cloud offers customization options, it sometimes falls short for businesses with unique requirements. The platform works best for medium to large enterprises, particularly those already invested in the SAP ecosystem. For smaller businesses, the combination of high costs, technical requirements and implementation complexity might be overwhelming.

That said, once you get past the initial hurdles and have it properly set up, SAP Sales Cloud is a powerful tool. The key is having the right resources, budget and technical support to fully take advantage of its capabilities.

This feature allows you to identify areas of improvement and measure the performance of your company’s channel partners.

The B2B Service Center turned out to be essential for cross-team collaboration. Having a 360-degree customer view makes it easy to address client needs promptly. I also appreciate the milestone and SLA tracking features, which help to stay on top of critical deadlines without breaking a sweat.

Even though the platform's comprehensive nature initially felt overwhelming, I soon learned the capacity of its AI capabilities. The adaptive intelligence feature can become a go-to for identifying high-potential opportunities, and [predictive analytics](https://mailchimp.com/resources/ai-predictive-analytics/) helps tailor your approach to each client's unique needs. Features like the [Oracle Sales Assistant](https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/sales/fastg/overview-of-sales-assistant-features.html) help you perform tasks through natural language commands, reducing the learning curve and increasing efficiency.

In a time where subscription-based models are becoming increasingly prevalent, having built-in tools like Oracle’s subscription management can be a significant advantage. While I didn't have the chance to explore all of them, Oracle's industry-specific solutions and their tailored approach for different sectors like healthcare and financial services showed me how versatile the platform could be.

Oracle Sales Cloud didn’t score as high as other CRM providers in our communication channels analysis, with a rating of 66\. In comparison, HubSpot scored 96, Zoho 92, Salesforce 86 and Pipeliner 88\. However, it still offers robust support for essential features, providing handy tools like email templates, email communication, email aliases and call logging out of the box.

The learning curve was steeper than I anticipated. Also, its high cost and complexity may be a barrier for some users. Despite these challenges, the benefits of Oracle Sales Cloud far outweigh its drawbacks. The platform's scalability and integration with other Oracle products make it a solid choice for businesses looking to future-proof their CRM solution.

From a customization standpoint, I found the no-code tools surprisingly intuitive. I was able to learn how to customize the solution myself without constantly needing technical support, which was a huge plus. That said, for more complex applications, you'll still want an IT team on standby.

The system's flexibility is visible in how it handles business processes. I was impressed with the campaign features — even complex marketing campaigns were surprisingly manageable. The bi-weekly updates from the vendor kept things running smoothly, quickly addressing the few minor bugs I encountered along the way.

However, I did face some challenges worth noting. Load times were occasionally frustrating, with some pages taking longer than expected. I also ran into some reliability issues with the scheduled emails feature, which sometimes failed to send as planned. These might not be deal-breakers for many, but they're worth keeping in mind.

The platform's depth is a striking aspect. While everyday users might pick up the basic interface quickly, I found myself occasionally overwhelmed by the sheer number of features and customization options available. The tools are incredibly useful but potentially daunting if you're new to it.

Creatio's commitment to user feedback is commendable. Their continuous platform improvements based on user suggestions show how they're serious about evolving with their customers' needs. The extensive third-party integration options were impressive, though I noticed most of them required additional providers to set up.

When I tested Pega, what stood out to me was its real-time AI decision-making. Instead of waiting on static reports, the system continuously analyzes customer context — past purchases, support history, engagement patterns — and suggests the next-best action instantly. That meant I could quickly see whether the right move was a service intervention, an upsell opportunity or a new outreach.

Another strength is how case management is baked right into the CRM. Unlike platforms that bolt it on, Pega makes it easy to handle complex, multi-step processes without losing visibility. Every task, exception and escalation stay connected to the customer record, which is a huge advantage for teams managing long or regulated processes.

While exploring Pega’s case management, I appreciated how smoothly cases move through the workflow. Instead of manually advancing each step, the system automatically progresses cases from Intake to Automatic Routing to Close Case. I could easily see the full timeline and how each stage connects, which made it simple to track progress and ensure nothing slipped through the cracks.

Pega’s journey-based approach is impressive. Instead of siloed deals and tickets, it ties every interaction into a broader flow across channels and departments. This not only optimizes workflows but also strengthens customer satisfaction and loyalty.

That said, Pega isn’t without limitations. I found the interface less intuitive compared to mainstream CRMs like Zoho or Salesforce, and the learning curve was steep. I also discovered that setup and customization require technical expertise — it’s not the kind of platform you just plug in and start using.

**Bottom Line:** If you’re an enterprise that needs AI-driven engagement, integrated case management and secure, end-to-end journey orchestration, Pega CRM is hard to beat. But if you want something lightweight, easier to manage or more budget-friendly, you’ll likely be better off with options like Zoho CRM or HubSpot.

After spending time with Sugar CRM, I was able to learn some of its strengths and limitations in depth. It has impressive customization capabilities — I could configure modules and fields exactly how I wanted them. The BPM (Business Process Management) system also impressed me with its flexibility in setting up automated workflows.

On the support front, I found SugarClub lessons beneficial for learning the platform. The online knowledge base and active community forums were helpful when I got stuck. However, troubleshooting could be challenging, and I encountered glitches that required workarounds.

There were a few hiccups during testing. The most notable one was with integrations — many essential connections require either coding knowledge or third-party providers, which isn't ideal for non-technical users. The reporting features are basic and inflexible, especially when dealing with large datasets. Users say generating large reports (over 200K records) requires breaking them down into smaller chunks.

The platform's performance had some ups and downs. I noticed slowdowns during peak hours with the cloud version. The interface, while clean, sometimes felt overwhelming with the amount of data displayed on each record, requiring lots of scrolling or multiple tab openings to find specific information.

While free trials are invaluable, I wanted to know how Sugar CRM performs in real business environments. [Tetley Harris](https://www.sugarcrm.com/au/customers/case-studies/tetley/), North America's largest private-label tea packing company, is a good example. Their outdated spreadsheet system limited the sales team's effectiveness, allowing them to track only about 100 customers and focus on just 10-12 big opportunities per year, while smaller prospects were overlooked.

The results of implementing Sugar CRM were remarkable — once integrated with Outlook, Tetley’s user adoption increased rapidly, and the team expanded from tracking 100 leads to managing over 1,200 active accounts. Shortly after implementation, they opened and closed 400 opportunities.

For businesses considering Sugar CRM, I'd say its biggest strength is its customization potential, but this comes with a caveat — many advanced features require significant technical expertise or additional investment. Also, we recommend considering the license-based pricing for larger teams and the need for custom development to achieve certain functionalities.
